K9 Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest and Party Guidelines:

• This is a domestic dog only event.
• There is a maximum of 2 dogs per handler.
• To participate in the costume pageant, dogs and their handlers must be registered and sign a waiver.
• In the event of cancellation (weather, etc.), there won’t be refunds. Besides being fun, this fundraising event raises money for Flagler Beach Creates, a 501(c)3 organization to beautify Flagler Beach.
• Any potential care, medical or otherwise for you or your pet(s) is your responsibility. We don’t take out insurance for you or your pets.
• All dogs attending the event must:
o Be up to date with all required vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPPC and Bordetella).
o Be social around people and dogs.
o Not have fleas or ticks.
o Remain leashed with a maximum six-foot leash (no retractable leashes) and under the handler’s control.
• The handler who brings any dog to the event agrees to:
o Pick up their dog’s feces in all areas around the venue.
o Abide by event personnel’s decision to require participants and any dog(s) to leave the event if they determine, in their sole discretion, that the conduct of either dog(s) or participant may put other patrons or their dogs in danger.
o Always be responsible for the pet(s) behavior and physical control.
o In the event of injury, illness, or other incapacity, be responsible for and pay their and their pet’s medical and emergency expenses.
o Allow Flagler Beach Creates to use, publish, and display my name, voice and photograph or other likeness of myself and/or my dog(s) for advertising or other related purposes in any media in perpetuity without compensation.

Witches of Flagler Beach Rider Rules:

Bicycles only. Electric bike motors may not be used. No scooters, golf carts, skate boards or roller blades.

Riders must be 18 years of age. Bike Helmets are strongly encouraged. Only one rider per bike. No children in bicycle seats, carriers or towed carriers allowed.

No pets or CELL PHONE USE DURING THE RIDE.

Pay close attention to the pre-ride safety instruction which will be announced the morning of the ride by the Alpha Witch.

This is not a race, do not pass the Alpha Witch.

When riding on the road, remain as far to the right as is safe.

Beware of road debris, parked cars, car doors opening and stay completely out of the oncoming vehicle lane.

Although you should try to keep pace with the group, please do not follow other riders too closely. Riders may have to stop quickly and you will need to be able to safely stop or slow down to avoid a collision.

Make sure costumes and bike decorations do not interfere with safe bicycle operation. To ensure the safety of our Coven a bicycle safety check will be provided prior to the Ride.
